Professional Antique Rug Services in Evanston, Illinois

Cleaning, Restoration, Conservation and Appraisals

At Eli Peer Oriental Rugs, we understand that antique rugs are more than decorative floor coverings. They are works of art, representing generations of craftsmanship, history, and tradition.

With over 50 years of experience in the antique rug business, Eli Peer offers professional services and knowledgeable guidance for the cleaning, repair, restoration, conservation, and appraisal of fine handmade rugs and carpets.

Every antique rug is unique. Its age, condition, materials, dyes, and construction must be carefully considered before cleaning or restoration. Our approach is to preserve each rug's original character, beauty, and integrity whenever possible.

All rug cleaning and repair work is performed at our own facilities in Evanston, Illinois, where each rug receives individual attention and care.

We serve homeowners, collectors, interior designers, and estates throughout Chicago, Evanston, the North Shore, and surrounding communities.

Whether your rug requires professional cleaning, careful restoration, an appraisal, or advice on proper care, we welcome your inquiries.
