This magnificent antique Persian Manchester Wool Kashan carpet is an exceptional example of the finest workshop production from the golden age of Kashan weaving. Dating to approximately 1910, it was woven using luxurious imported Manchester-spun Merino wool, prized for its remarkable softness, silky sheen, and exceptional durability. These carpets represent some of the most desirable early 20th-century Persian weavings and are highly regarded by collectors and interior designers alike. The spacious rose-red field is filled with an elegant allover pattern of scrolling arabesques, stylized palmettes, delicate floral sprays, and graceful boteh motifs, creating a beautifully balanced composition without a dominant central medallion.
